Physiotherapy for Infants

These appointments are designed for babies aged 0-1yr. Please bring your baby in should you have any concerns with his/her developmental milestones. You can also book one of these appointments if you do not have any concerns, but are looking for guidance on how to support your infant in developing gross motor skills.


Paediatric Pelvic Health Physiotherapy

If your child struggles with continence or pelvic floor dysfunction, these specialized appointments with our Pelvic Health physiotherapists can help. Be sure to book an Initial Assessment if you have not previously been seen by one of our physiotherapists for Pelvic Health concerns.


Virtual Physiotherapy

These services are offered through a secure online platform in the safety and comfort of your home.


Physiotherapy for Concussion

These appointments are for concussion related services including baseline testing, post concussion assessment and treatment. Our clinic is associated with Complete Concussion Management Inc (CCMI).

Jessica grew up in Brazil, and her passion for physiotherapy and working with children sparked since her days as a professional dancer. Before going into physiotherapy, she was a ballet teacher for children of all ages for 10 years. During her bachelor’s in dance, she researched the use of imagery for movement and childhood motor learning. During her kinesiology program, she started volunteering as a dance mentor to youth with physical and intellectual disabilities, and through her physical therapy degree at Queen’s University, she worked in a pediatric centre with children with developmental delays, diverse musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, neurologic, and genetic conditions.

Jessica is passionate about working with babies and young children to promote motor learning and achieve developmental milestones. She also has a special interest in working with neurological conditions, sports injury and prevention, all focusing on a creative and fun learning environment.

Tanha grew up in the GTA area. Throughout her childhood she took part in many sports such as swimming, figure skating, badminton and track and field. Tanha’s interest in learning about the human body led her to pursue a Bachelors of Science in the Life Sciences: Sensory Motor Systems program which allowed her to combine her love for neuroscience and kinesiology. She went on to pursue a Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto where she sought out opportunities to gain experience working with children by taking the pediatric selective course and volunteering in a pediatric clinic.

Tanha has loved working with kids since volunteering in the PLASP program in high school and being a camp instructor and knew that it was her goal to work with this population. She completed her final clinical placement here at Toronto Kids physio where she gained experience working with kids of all ages and conditions. She is thrilled to be a part of the kids physio team, where she can continue to pursue her love for working with children and help patients and their families have a positive experience while achieving their goals in a FUN way.

Shahd grew up in London, and has always been passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children. Being the eldest child of her family, she brings a unique perspective to her role as she witnessed firsthand the uniqueness of a child’s developmental journey and how exciting achieving each milestone is.

Throughout her education, Shahd went on to pursue her passion for healthcare and physical activity by completing her Kinesiology degree at Western University in 2021. During her time in undergraduate studies, she volunteered for an after-school health promotion program for elementary school children across the city and worked as a summer camp counsellor for multiple years. She then completed her Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy in 2023 at the University of Toronto where she completed an amazing paediatric placement working with children with acquired brain injuries.

Shahd has a genuine passion for creating a warm and engaging environment for kids to grow and explore their surroundings. She firmly believes in the power of play and creative therapies to make physiotherapy both enjoyable and effective. Her compassionate approach not only addresses physical challenges but also considers the emotional and social aspects of a child’s development.

She is thrilled to be a part of the Kids Physio Team as a Physiotherapy Resident, where she can continue helping little ones achieve big goals in meaningful and FUN ways.

Sabrina grew up in Toronto, where she played numerous sports competitively and recreationally, growing up to work as a soccer and volleyball coach where she found her love of working and teaching children new and fun skills. Sabrina has always had an interest for the human body and this brought her to the University of Toronto where she completed her Bachelor’s of Kinesiology while working as a personal trainer. Always knowing she wanted to pursue physiotherapy, she went on to complete her Master’s of Physiotherapy at the University of Limerick in Ireland. She went on to stay in Ireland for a year after graduating working as a physio in a school for children with complex physical disabilities.

Sabrina loves to work with children with various abilities and loves to bring a family centred approach to her practice to ensure a safe and fun environment. Sabrina is overjoyed to be working as a Physiotherapist Resident with Kids Physio Group to bring a fun and cultivating environment to the families she works with to reach their goals.

Mo grew up in Toronto and spent many of her summers at camp in Muskoka, where she first found her passion for helping kids develop new skills through fun and creative programming. She loves to be imaginative and silly while still acknowledging the hard work her kids put in towards achieving their goals. Having played waterpolo for the Canadian Women’s Junior National team, Mo has had many sport-related injuries herself and understands first-hand the frustrations and pressures of an athlete’s rehab journey and returning to sport.

Mo loves to be involved with mentorship roles through Kids Physio Group, and is continuously looking to expand her skill set through continuing education courses. Mo is passionate about treating babies and children with developmental delay and uses her extended education to treat torticollis and plagiocephaly, developmental hip dysplasia, toe-walking, cerebral palsy, and neurological conditions.

Samantha grew up in a small town in the Ottawa Valley where she developed a love for the outdoors and an active lifestyle. Samantha always knew she wanted to work with kids and spent her time volunteering and working with children and youth of all ages and abilities through high school and during her undergraduate degree. When she went on to complete her degree in physical therapy at The University of Toronto, she completed 2 clinical internships in paediatrics and was awarded the Hospital for Sick Children Prize in Paediatrics upon graduating from the program.

Samantha is especially passionate about working with babies and young children with developmental delays and neurological conditions. She has is always looking to expand her skillset by taking continuing education courses and has completed additional training/education on a variety of topics including idiopathic toe walking, gait mechanics, Autism and infant feeding. Deb, a Toronto native, has been immersed in sports and outdoor activities since her youth. Her passion for working with children began at 16, both working and volunteering in diverse settings like swimming programs, canoe trips, adaptive fitness centers, and schools. This early experience fueled her dedication to pediatric physiotherapy.

Upon graduating, she spent the next 7 years working at a children’s rehabilitation hospital, where she specialized in assisting children with diverse physical needs. Deb has also worked in the clinical setting with babies and young children who need help reaching their milestones. Deb thrives on creating engaging yet challenging treatments tailored to each child’s interests, ensuring sessions are both effective and enjoyable. Deb has additional training in pelvic floor rehab, hydrotherapy, and dance therapy.

Jillian was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. She was first exposed to physiotherapy through her own experience with a sports injury when she was 12 years old. Her keen interest in human movement led her to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Western University and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto. Now, Jillian is combining her passion for movement with her love for working with kids to fulfill her dream of being a paediatric physiotherapist.

Jillian’s interest in pediatrics was initially sparked while working one-on-one with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, and Down Syndrome as a special needs camp counsellor. Jenn grew up in Montreal, Quebec. As a figure skater and later coach, Jenn has always had a love for teaching children new skills. She attended McGill University, completing an undergraduate degree in Anatomy and Cell Biology, followed by a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy in 2010. Upon graduating, Jennifer immediately pursued a career in pediatric physiotherapy. She has worked in the private sector at multidisciplinary clinics, a doctor’s office, as well as in her own capacity as an independent practitioner. Jennifer also has experience in the public sector, working at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. Jenn is passionate about combining her previous experiences in both the public and private sectors to create a clinic which will provide the highest level of care and support for clients and their families. Through many continuing education courses, Jenn has expanded her skill set as a pediatric physiotherapist in order to maintain and uphold standards of best practice as well as keep up with the latest research.
