Agi was born and grew up in the GTA. She spent her childhood/adolescent life primarily as a competitive dancer and also participated in various other sports such as soccer and swimming. She experienced many injuries during this time and therefore has personally gone through physiotherapy from a young age. Her dance background and interest in human movement led her to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at McMaster University. She then went on to complete a Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto where her passion for helping people, specifically children, reach their full potential grew.
Agi has been working with children since teaching dance classes in high school and now has an interest in helping kids with sports injuries recover and return to play. She completed a clinical placement here at Toronto Kids Physio where she gained experience working with children of all ages and abilities. She is also passionate about treating babies and children with developmental delays, while making physiotherapy a FUN and meaningful experience for kids and their families.
In her spare time Agi enjoys reading, finding new food spots around the GTA, binging TV shows, and staying active by going on walks/hikes with friends or family.
Chantal was born in Toronto, Ontario. She grew up in Markham where she participated in various sports throughout her childhood including swimming, climbing, and achieving her black belt in Taekwondo. She has always loved working with kids since her adolescent years, whether it was at summer camps and weekly programs in visual arts, music, or science for local youth & babies, or language teaching to elementary school students in a rural Taiwanese community.
Chantal pursued her passions in human body movement science and rehabilitative healthcare through her Bachelor of Science degree in Honours Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo, followed by completing her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto. Through her education and experiences, she has helped kids of all ages with orthopaedic and neurological conditions to achieve their functional rehabilitative goals through fun, creative, yet meaningful play-based therapy. She is so excited to be a part of the Toronto Kids Physio team!
Outside the clinic, Chantal loves making art (digital art, drawing & painting, pottery), working out and staying active with outdoor activities with friends & family, and exploring cafes & new cuisines!
